Giovanni Marco Pitteri (1703–1767) was an Italian engraver of the late-Baroque period in his native Venice. He made densely incised, with nearly photographic quality shading, engraved portraits. He engraved a drawing of ‘’St. Phillip’’by Piazzetta, in whose studio he worked.〔On exhibit at Museum of Fine Arts of San Francisco〕 He had as one of his pupils Giovanni Domenico Lorenzi.〔(vite dei pittori, scultori e architetti veronesi'' ) (1891). page 434.
